Arrive in Ushuaia independently. Scheduled boarding around 15:30. In the evening, sail through the beautiful Beagle Channel with the sunset behind, marking the beginning of the Antarctic expedition cruise.

Sail south through the Drake Passage, located between the South American continent and the Antarctic Peninsula. During the approximately 600-nautical-mile voyage, drifting ice, icebergs, seabirds, whales, etc., may become visible.
Onboard lectures by the expedition team's experts will be held, covering Antarctic geography, biology, and history. Near the Antarctic Convergence, where cold and warm currents meet, feel the uniquely clear, cold Antarctic air as you approach the authentic Antarctic world.
Around Half Moon Island and Aitcho Island in the South Shetland Islands, you can witness Antarctic-specific nature, including penguin rookeries, birds such as skuas, petrels, and gulls, and mosses/lichens that grow during the summer.

Several days of cruising and landing tours around the South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula.
This area is exceptionally rich in marine life, featuring magnificent landscapes surrounded by glaciers and icebergs, and regions where one can sense the history of Antarctic exploration.

If weather and sea conditions permit, guided by expedition staff, visits to penguin colonies and Zodiac boat cruises among icebergs will be conducted. Experience the unique nature of Antarctica up close amidst the silence surrounded by icebergs.

Landings/cruises at the following sites or other unlisted sites are planned. However, feasibility, order, timing, content, etc., are determined by the ship company based on weather, ice conditions, and safety.

Planned Visit Sites (Examples)

• Great Wall Station
  China's Antarctic research base. Located on King George Island, an area where many national research stations are concentrated.

• Aitcho Island
  A large breeding ground for Chinstrap and Gentoo penguins. With luck, Weddell seals may also be observed.

• Cuverville Island
  One of the largest Gentoo penguin habitats on the Antarctic Peninsula. The surrounding waters are often dotted with stranded icebergs.

• Neko Harbour
  Features a penguin colony and is one of the few accessible landing sites on the Antarctic continent.

• Danco Island
  A vantage point offering panoramic views of the Errera Channel. Approximately 1,500 pairs of Gentoo penguins breed here.

• Paradise Harbour
  A premier scenic spot in Antarctica, where icebergs are reflected in mirror-like waters.

• Port Lockroy
  A former British base converted into an Antarctic museum. Also known for housing an Antarctic post office.

• Brown Bluff
  A breeding ground for Adélie and Gentoo penguins, as well as seabirds.

• Deception Island
  A horseshoe-shaped active volcanic island. It was formerly used as a whaling station.

• Lemaire Channel
  A narrow waterway renowned as one of the most beautiful sailing routes in Antarctica.

• Petermann Island
  A habitat for Adélie penguins. An excellent point for observing icebergs and cetaceans.

• Wilhelmina Bay
  A vast bay surrounded by glaciers. An area with a high frequency of cetacean sightings.

• Antarctic Sound
  An ice floe zone known as "Iceberg Alley."

Concluding the southbound journey, we will head north across the Drake Passage towards Ushuaia.
