Refund Policy

Refund Policy

This Refund Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") stipulatesPacific Travelthe conditions for refunds of charges (hereinafter referred to as "Charges") related to travel products, travel-related services, and other services sold or provided by (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Products/Services").

 

Refund Conditions

The Company shall refund all or part of the Charges already received from the customer only when the Company deems that any of the following items applies.

  1. When all or part of the Products/Services were not provided, or significant delay in provision occurred, due to reasons attributable to the Company.
  2. When the Company recognizes that all or part of the Products/Services are damaged or defective.
  3. In addition to the cases specified in the preceding items, when the Company approves a refund due to special circumstances.

However, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Company shall have no obligation to refund in any of the following cases. This shall not apply when the Company specifically approves a refund based on Item 3 of the preceding paragraph.

  1. When provision of the Products/Services could not be performed, or significant delay in provision occurred, due to reasons attributable to the customer.
    (This includes, but is not limited to, failure to provide necessary information, insufficient cooperation with requests from the Company, etc.)
  2. When all or part of the Products/Services become damaged or defective due to reasons attributable to the customer.
  3. When the customer has already commenced use of the product or has started utilizing the service.

 

Application for Refund

Customers wishing to receive a refund shall apply for a refund in accordance with the method separately specified by the Company.
All costs required for the refund application, such as communication fees, postage, etc., shall be borne by the customer.

The Company will promptly review the content after receiving the refund application and notify the customer of the approval or denial of the refund by the method prescribed by the Company.

 

Refund Method and Timing

If a refund is approved, the Company shall refund the Charges by the method designated by the Company.
Costs such as transfer fees required for the refund procedure shall be borne by the Company.

The timing for implementing the refund shall be the date separately specified by the Company.

 

Return of Products and Handling of Services

When receiving a refund, the customer shall return or bring the received products to the location designated by the Company by the method designated by the Company, by the date specified by the Company. However, this shall not apply when specifically approved by the Company.

Furthermore, regarding services, utilization shall cease immediately upon approval of the refund, and restoration to the original state shall be performed if requested by the Company.

Costs required for returning products, restoring services to their original state, etc. (including transportation costs, transfer fees, etc.) shall be borne by the customer. However, this shall not apply when specifically approved by the Company.

 

Cooling-Off

When the Company provides Products/Services in the form of mail-order sales, the cooling-off system stipulated in the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions shall not apply.

Except where otherwise stipulated in this Policy, customers may not withdraw or cancel the application for the contract regarding the Products/Services (hereinafter referred to as "this Contract"), and Article 15-3, Paragraph 1, main text of the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions shall not apply to this Contract.

 

Relationship with Terms of Use

This Policy shall constitute part of the Company's Terms of Use.
Matters not stipulated in this Policy shall be governed by the provisions of the Terms of Use. If the content of this Policy and the content of the Terms of Use conflict or are inconsistent, the provisions of this Policy shall take precedence.
